Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a state of conscious deep sleep for extreme relaxation and subtler spiritual exploration. It is believed that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equvilent to 4 hours of sleep!
No experience is necessary, only requirement is an open mind and open heart! All guests need to do is follow the voice of the guided meditation. A sound bath will immediately follow and will include crystal singing bowls, gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, drums, chimes, and more as the backdrop to help you quickly shift your brain waves and restore harmony to the nervous system.
These healing modalities may:
-Release stuck energy from the energetic body
-Reduce mental and physical stress
-Open, clear, balance and align the chakras
-Promote body, mind and spirit integration
-Release negative patterns and thoughts
-Heal our psychological wounds
What to bring:
Please bring a yoga mat, pillow to support your neck, an eye covering, a bolster or rolled up towel for under your knees, water, a journal and a snack if you desire. Dress comfortably and refrain from eating a large meal, or consuming any stimulants such as caffeine prior to the event. Feel free to bring any metaphysical items you would like charged in the vibration.

About the facilitators:
Lucia DiSimone, LMT, CA
Lucia is a Master Sound Healer, Reiki Master, Licensed Massage Therapist, Aromatherapist and the owner of The Nurtured Soul and Co-Director of The Vibrational Healing Institute. She integrates sound, essential oils, therapeutic massage, and energy work to support her clients as they heal physically, mentally, emotionally, and spirituality.
Malini Patel, E-RYT
Malini’s yoga journey started with a gift certificate for private yoga classes from her children. She started practicing regularly and her love for yoga deepened. With a desire to make a difference in the lives of others, Malini completed a 200 hour Hatha Yoga training in 2011, and additional hours in Yin Yoga. She has trained with several great teachers who guided her towards Yoga Nidra, including Jill Blumenstock in 2011. She received her Yoga Nidra certification with Jennifer Reis in 2014, and Yoga Nidra certification with Barabara Moeller Level 1 in 2012 and Level 2 in 2015 both at Lourdes Institute. Malini also received her certification in Chair Yoga with Lisa O’Brien at Lourdes Institute.
