Take a calming hīkoi/walk up Lake Road to Tūī Terrace in the heart of the valley. Lay out your mats and be led in a hatha yoga session that is uniquely facilitated with a te ao Māori kaupapa.Our Wednesday evening sessions run from 5.30-7.30pm, and our morning sessions on Sundays run from 9.00-11.00am.
This experience is outdoors so make sure to dress appropriately. Meet the instructor at the Visitor Centre to check in and head into the sanctuary as a group. There will be a gentle 15 min walk up and back from the site along an accessible path. These sessions are designed to suit all levels of ability.
If you have your own yoga mat then bring it along, as while Zealandia does have a few to loan out, supplies are limited.
In the event of bad weather the session may be moved indoors but may have a short walk out in the valley before hand, or else cancelled with credit offered to customers for another session.
