Join us for Yoga in the Gallery, where you will get to practice yoga amongst art for a unique and relaxing experience with instructor Christene Joy! This class runs once a month on Saturdays. Christene will guide a Gentle Yoga offering - a mindfully-paced practice that incorporates gentle body movement, breath work, and meditation. This offering will help you center and ground, taking the time to pay attention to your body and what you need from the practice. It incorporates a flow to it that is perfect for beginners and all levels. Please bring your yoga mat, water bottle and optional towel.

About the instructor:
Christene Joy M. Gonzales is a yoga instructor here in Morgan Hill. She runs Lead with JOY, an organization which aims to connect people through holistic yoga and other effective models of self leadership. She hosts heart centered workshops focused on joy, compassion, and mindfulness using yoga as a tool. In addition to guiding individual and group coaching clients, she is the resident Yoga Instructor for Fitness19 gym since 2021, and a Yoga Instructor for Gilead Sciences in the Bay Area since 2023, and for the Morgan Hill Yoga Collective as of May 2024.
She holds a BA in Human Development from the University of California (UC) San Diego and a certificate from UC Berkeley’s Post-Baccalaureate program for Counseling and Psychology. I am a Certified Life Coach from JRNI (known now as Lumia), and received my Yoga certifications from CorePower Yoga, Ignite | Institute for Yogic Leadership and Social Change, Soul of Yoga, and Tejal Yoga.
