My teacher, Pema Chodron, reminds me to take control of what I can and let go of everything else. As the world around me shifts in tectonic ways, it's time to reinforce my personal toolbox, welcome a real sense of empowerment and be the change I want to see in the world.

This summer yoga practice includes yoga poses, mobility work, breath work and guided meditation for folks able to get up and down from the ground.
Each week, focus on a specific characteristic necessary to THRIVE during these tumultuous times:
1st Monday of the month: Deep Roots
Develop your root system as we focus on pelvic floor health, core stability, breathwork and balance.
2nd Monday of the month: Resilience Training
An extensive root system allows large trees to twist and bend through high winds and storms without breaking. Explore side bends and twists as we build resilience in the body and mind.
3rd Monday of the month: Stand Strong
Standing up for your values and feeling empowered to create change takes practice! Lean into the strength you already have and build upon it through standing poses and hip work to create ease and greater mobility.
4th Monday of the month: Community and Belonging
Obedience won't protect you from fascism, but community will! Let's look out for each other. Strengthen your back body and have each other's backs. Let that strong back support your beautiful open heart as we show the Broligarchy the power of unity consciousness.

Each class is designed to be a stand-alone experience, but taken consistently allows for a deeper experience.
