Lake & Lotus Yoga: Yoga for Everyday Life
Wednesdays | 9:30–10:30 AM
Join us for a welcoming weekly yoga class designed to support everyday life through movement, breathwork, and mindfulness. This practice is about more than poses—it's about living authentically, cultivating self-awareness, and finding joy in the process. The goal is to make yoga practical, accessible, and supportive so that it naturally fits into your daily life.
To begin our journey together, the first five classes will explore the five Yamas—the ethical foundations of yoga that guide how we relate to ourselves and others. Together, we will explore themes of compassion, honesty, balance, self-awareness, and letting go while strengthening the body, calming the mind, and deepening our connection to ourselves and those around us.
July 8 – Ahimsa (Non-Harming)
July 15 – Satya (Truthfulness)
July 22 – Asteya (Non-Stealing)
July 29 – Brahmacharya (Wise Use of Energy)
August 5 – Aparigraha (Non-Grasping)
Each class offers its own unique focus and concludes with a simple yet meaningful takeaway lesson—something you can incorporate into your everyday life long after you leave the mat. People of all ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to join in this welcoming, supportive, and inclusive space.
This is an ongoing weekly class. Future themes, special topics, and series will be announced throughout the year, offering opportunities to continue exploring different aspects of yoga, mindfulness, and personal growth. Be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming offerings!

Meet Your Instructor, Angela
Angela recently completed a Yoga Alliance-approved 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program and is excited to begin this new chapter of teaching. Her goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students of all ages and abilities can build strength, find balance, gain confidence, and deepen their connection to themselves and their community.
Completing her certification later in life reinforced her belief that it is never too late to learn something new, follow a dream, or begin a new adventure. Her passion for personal growth, lifelong learning, travel, staying active, and meaningful connection shines through in every class she teaches.
Angela believes that some of life's greatest opportunities come from stepping outside our comfort zones. Whether it's trying your first yoga class, learning a new skill, or pursuing a long-held goal, growth begins when we give ourselves permission to start.
Come as you are, and discover what becomes possible when you embrace something new.
