About this Event
This six-week yoga for anxiety series is open to anyone and everyone who wants to decrease anxiety through gentle movement, breathwork and other yogic techniques. Give yourself one hour a week on the mat to experience a break from the daily grind of life and journey deep within yourself. We’ll move slowly with plenty of options and props, focusing on comfort and releasing tension.This six-week yoga for anxiety series offers you opening and space in the body through seated and relaxing yoga postures, nervous system regulation through carefully chosen breathwork practices, present moment experiences through mindful meditation and visualization and deep, vibrational calm through sound healing. You'll be able to take the tools you learn in this series off the mat and into the world to decrease symptoms of anxiety in your everyday life. This series is open to beginners, gently paced and trauma sensitive.
