We get to the core basics of an asana yoga practice with this class. Yoga basics at M Power is a non-heated gentle vinyasa class that focuses on foundational poses to help build core strength and teach modifications to help grow your practice over time. The class is more accessible than most and suitable for all including beginners, athletes, and the non-flexible. This is a great place to show up, begin, return, and repeat often.
The sequence is designed to help with alignment and for someone that wants to attend a traditional basic power or vinyasa class without all the fluff and fanciness. There will be times that the teacher will breakdown poses and strategies to enhance the benefits of a particular pose.
Showing up is often the most difficult pose. We encourage you to invite a friend, workout buddy, teammate, or family member for reinforcement to land upon your mat. We are all in this together. You are your most valuable asset, invest your time into your well-being both physically and emotionally.
We have loaner mats, water fountain, towels, and props at the studio and aim to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and safe space at the studio for you. We hope you join us weekly and see you in practice. Feel free to message us with any questions.
