The final celebration of the week will be a special Mass hosted by the Cathedral-Church of St. Francis de Sales as Bishop Simon Peter celebrates his first Mass as bishop inside his main Cathedral. St. Francis de Sales Cathedral is of significant importance to the Diocese and to the bishop as it holds the title of main Cathedral and is the place of the bishop’s primary cathedra (chair). At this Mass the People of God will experience the cultural beauty of Ugandan worship which is an important part of the life of our new bishop. A reception will follow in the KC Hall across the street.
