Yoga at the Beach (New London/Groton)

Come join us for a rejuvenating morning of yoga, nature, and self-care at the beautiful Bluff Point State Park and Beach!

We will gather in the parking lot of Bluff Point state park and travel to the bluff on a 1.5 mile mindful, silent walking meditation through the wooded trail before setting up for a 45 minute mindful yoga class led by New London County based teacher and Captain, Jaylene.

The yoga class is open to all levels, beginners and advanced yogis and hikers alike. The event wraps up with a pleasant, self-paced walk back through the park to return to the lot. We'll arrive back shortly before noon.

This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to recharge and reconnect with nature this fall season while offering the opportunity to connect with people in your local community.

In the event of inclement weather, participant will be notified the day before. A rain date of 10/26 has been arranged.

What to bring:

• Water bottle
• Yoga mat and backpack or strap for carrying through the park
• A towel or rag if available
• Wear walking shoes and clothes you are comfortable doing yoga in
• Please dress in layers. While sunny, the shoreline can be breezy mid-Fall.

Parking:

The parking for the trailhead where we will meet is in the park. Navigate to Bluff Point State Park, park in the public lot and gather near the trailhead.
