About this Event
In today's world, our human physiology struggles to metabolise the constant stimulus from sounds, screens, and the speed at which we live. As a result we're overwhelmed and our bodies resort to storing stress rather than releasing it. This keeps us feeling stuck on high alert or completely exhausted (sometimes both) contributing to anxiety, depression, fatigue, sleep problems or just feeling generally ugghh.
This class will guide you through a set of practices to release the stress from your body and reset your nervous system back to a safe and stable baseline so you can feel freedom, ease and relaxation.
Your teacher, Sally Priestley.
Sally took her first yoga class in 2006 and has been on a curious journey ever since. Initially drawn to the practice as a way to nourish her body and settle her mind, Sally soon realised there's more to yoga than meets the eye.
Through dedicated practice and study, Sally developed an embodied and intelligent grasp of the principles and practices of yoga, somatics, and spirituality, which brought depth to her classes.
Sally is passionate about sharing ancient philosophy alongside fluid flows, breathwork, and meditation practices that encourage the presence of the whole body and a deep sense of connection to yourself and the world around you.
