Yoga and Nature Meditation @ Irvine Regional Park

Would you like to spend more time connecting to nature but don’t seem to ever get around to it? Are you looking to meet other folks who like to slow down and enjoy the scenery? Do you have trouble “settling down” for traditional meditation? Join Save Orange Hills for monthly Movement and Nature Connection!

In the quiet and cool of the morning, we will begin with approximately 45 minutes of yoga-influenced gentle movement tailored to the needs of the group, followed by about 15 minutes of guided reflection time in which we will practice deepening our nature connection skills. After the practice there will be informal social time for building on your connections with the outdoors and other humans!

**The practice is led by Heather Westenhofer, a certified naturalist and tree-hugger who has many years of professional group fitness, breathwork and meditation teaching experience. For your comfort, you might bring a yoga mat and/or a larger blanket or towel as well as water and a snack to enjoy during social time. If you have any questions or need Heather to bring an item such as a mat for you, she is happy to help you out at [email protected].**

MEET AT PARKING AREA 13 (N). $5 ENTRANCE FEE. Irvine Regional Park can be very busy on weekends, be sure to give yourself time to get in the gate and park!
