Please join Carol, Anne and Rick on Earth Day as they facilitate a serene experience to honor our Mother Earth with this lovely combination of Yin Yoga which focuses on releasing tension in the connective tissue and fascia in the body - set to a landscape of healing and energizing therapeutic sound. As Carol gently guides you in and out of a series of restorative Yin postures, using the breath and various props to assist, Anne and Rick will create a soothing, all-enveloping, and at times deeply stirring musical backdrop, utilizing a blend of crystal singing bowls, gongs, handpan and more to help you slip into a state of deep release, opening and relaxation. The final Savasana is pure bliss!Thought to help heal depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and insomnia, and to deepen meditation and spark creativity, sound bathing calms our overworked, overstimulated nervous system, and specific frequencies of sound can bring both our physical and subtle, or energy bodies into a state of balance.
$25 Registration online through ticket link or $30 at the door. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, if not we have extra to share. Blankets, blocks, bolsters provided.
