About this Event
Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls as you flow through gentle Yin Yoga poses. The evening will begin with a 1 hour Yin Yoga class accompanied by singing bowls and will end with a 15 min sound bath. This unique experience will help you release tension, calm the mind, and restore balance to your body and soul.
No experience necessary - just bring a yoga mat, water, and an open heart. Also feel free to bring any props such as a blanket or pillow to feel comfortable throughout the practice.
What is Yin Yoga and sound bath?
Yin Yoga is a slower and more meditative style of yoga. It gives space to turn inward and tune into both the mind and physical sensation of the body. Yin Yoga targets deep connective tissues, like the fascia, ligaments, and joints.
A sound bath is a therapeutic and meditative experience that uses various instruments, such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums, to bathe the partipants in sound waves. Sound waves are set to different frequencies that correlate to different healing. For example, the singing bowls being used at this event are tuned to 432HZ. 432Hz, also known as the "miracle tone," is said to be in harmony with the natural vibrations of the universe. Helping to promote a sense of calmness, improve sleep quality, reduce stress and anxiety.
