Before there were written words, there was Yijing.

Before philosophy, strategy, or Fengshui, there was the wisdom of Yin and Yang—the ever-changing, ever-returning dance of nature.

Over 7,000 years ago in Henan, China, ancient sage Fu Xi observed the universe through a simple but profound system: one solid line (Yang) and two broken lines (Yin). This sparked the birth of Ba Gua—the 8 Trigrams—symbols of heaven, earth, wind, water, fire, mountain, thunder, and lake. These patterns mirrored all phenomena in life.

Then, 3,000 years ago, King Wen of Zhou, imprisoned for seven years, created the 64 Hexagrams—six-line diagrams representing every possible human situation. His goal? To find clarity in chaos, and answers in uncertainty.

500 years later, Philosopher Confucius added deep philosophical insights, making the Yijing not only a manual of foresight, but also of virtue and wisdom.
