This showing of Yesterday is in memoriam of one of the Kamloops Film Society’s strongest supporters. Kevin Martin had been a board member since 2002 and sadly passed away in late April. Kevin was involved in the Kamloops cinema community his whole career, working at the downtown Odeon for 23 years from 1978 until it closed in 2001, after which he became involved as a volunteer at the KFS.🎞️

Because he was a devoted Beatles fan, we’re honouring Kevin’s memory with a screening of the movie Yesterday. We will miss his positive attitude, humour and always remember his commitment to film and the KFS.🎥
