Come hear Montgomery County Master Gardener Lucinda Owen speak about successfully growing the best kinds of bulbs in your landscape.
All types of Spring and Fall bulbs will be covered as well as when to plant, how deep to plant, what to do before planting and fertilizers for bulbs.
The following key points will be covered:
Sun vs. Shade, Moisture Requirements, Deer and Rodent Resistance, Bloom Time,
When to Dig Up (if necessary), Chill hours (if necessary), Transplanting and Container Planting.
Some of the types of bulbs that will be discussed include Amaryllis, Caladium, Calla, Crinum, Ginger, Lilies, and Iris.
