International producer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist Yemanjo returns to Columbus with a live performance that blends downtempo, ethno house, folktronica and organic beats fused with traditional sounds from Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. In performance, Yemanjo combines his original music with live singing in many languages, trumpet, percussion, and other instruments in an electro-acoustic hybrid DJ/live set.
Opening up the night will be a somatic warm up led by Katy Kuhlman designed to bring you into your body and prepare you for the dance 🕺💃
Following the somatic warm up will be an opening DJ set from DJ Lionaura that will be sure to make you move and groove! 🔊🔥
Yemanjo will then take the stage for his energetic, captivating, live performance!

Yemanjo is the artistic moniker of Ben Harris, a California native whose deep connection to Latin American, African, and Middle Eastern music has shaped his unique sound 🌎
In a contemporary reality based on division and categorization, Yemanjo's music aims to break down the borders that divide us as cultures and individuals, and honor the diversity of human expression through sound 💃
Yemanjo’s sound is a unique fusion of downtempo and organic house beats with traditional sounds from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. 2024 saw the release of “La Misma Fuente”, an acclaimed album on Wonderwheel Recordings, and in 2025, Yemanjo will self-release another full length album entitled "Semillas De Poder" featuring collaborations with singer Irene Rosalia of Venezuela
DJ Lionaura:
Based in Cincinnati, OH, DJ Lionaura brings primal lioness energy to every event. Her specially curated sets free the mind, liberate the body, awaken the soul, and create unforgettable experiences of collective joy. Each performance unfolds like a story, weaving diverse high-vibrational genres into a fluid soundscape that guides participants into intuitive, liberating movement. On a floor with DJ Lionaura, movement becomes a celebration of the body, the earth, and the wild spirit within. Katy Kuhlman:
Rooted in Cleveland, OH, Katy is a 5Rhythms teacher and the organizer for Dance Your Soul (ecstatic dance) in Northeast Ohio. She is passionate about the practice of the 5Rhythms because it provides a movement map to transform life's challenges into creative expression in a powerful, embodied, spiritually-inspired space. She offers grounded, inclusive spaces that invite others to explore their own pace, whether they are seeking deep stillness or high-energy release 🧘♀️🌀
