Join us on Sunday, November 8th, from 12 to 3 PM at The Event Lawn for a community afternoon dedicated to honoring those who have served.
What To Expect:
At the heart of the celebration is the Honor Wall. Guests are invited to write the name of a loved one or service member on a heart and add it to the wall, creating a lasting tribute to the people who have served our country.
Throughout the afternoon, JROTC and other students will share stories and speeches of bravery, service, and honor. It’s a chance to hear from a new generation about what these values mean to them.
Family activities run all day, with a bounce house, science fun, and games throughout the celebration. We’ll also be handing out copies of the Constitution along with flags. Don’t forget to enter our raffle for a chance to win a $100 gift card to T-Michael Restaurant. Winners will be announced at 2 PM.
We’ll open at noon with a martial arts demonstration. At 1:00 PM, the Veteran Tribute Speech Contest begins, followed at 2:00 PM by the Speech Awards and raffle results. The celebration closes at 3:00 PM with the playing of Taps and a presentation by Scouting America. Family activities continue all day, so come when you can and stay as long as you like.
