Year One Film Screening & Discussion
About this Event
Year One Film Screening & Discussion
Join us for a screening of the independent drama (written and directed by Northwestern alum Lauren Loesberg). The film follows Ruby, a high-achieving freshman facing the emotional turbulence and isolation of campus life.
Rachel Kaufman, LCSW, and Morgan Browning, LCSW (Co-Founders of Sunrise Therapy) will facilitate short, guided discussions directly during key moments of the film. This interactive format is designed to support students and parents through the college transition with reflective questions, actionable strategies, and mental health resources.
This special community event is hosted at WIN Athletic Club in partnership with Sunrise Therapy.
