Year Of The Oak: Arborist Workshop & Film Screening
Join us for an evening of learning and discussion on Oregon White Oak trees at The Lake Theater in Lake Oswego! This program is offered by Lake Oswego Watershed Council in cooperation with the Lake Theater & Café. Admission details and registration required (though food and drink purchases are encouraged to offset the cost to the Lake Theater). Doors open at 5:45, the presentation begins at 6:00. Brian French is the principal at Arboriculture International, a certified arborist, tree worker, and risk assessor with 24+ years of experience in Oregon and internationally. He specializes in wildlife tree retention, habitat programs, and the preservation of significant trees. Brian also coordinates the Oregon Champion Tree Registry and Portland Heritage Tree Program, contributing to arborist research and safer practices worldwide.
