About this Event

In this workshop participants will learn the basic tools and techniques to turn wool fibre into yarn. We will go over different yarn properties, methods for achieving them with hand-spinning, and everyone will have the chance to practice on a drop spindle.

No experience required. All materials provided.

Alicia Wright is an artist in Toronto who has been working with textiles for over 10 years. She is a member of the Toronto Guild of Spinners and Weavers and hosts various workshops and private lessons throughout the city.
