Join us for a yarn, a natter and a bit of woolly fun at the Box Factory Community Centre!
A free, drop in day celebrating Worldwide Knit in Public Day, bringing the community together with colour, creativity, and a whole lot of community spirit.
Settle into the cosy community knit at the Box Factory Community Centre, learn new skills from friendly facilitators and enjoy acoustic music by the flame heaters, while you stitch, chat, and create.
Everyone's welcome — beginners, makers, families, and curious passers by alike. We hope this event sparks ongoing creativity, inspiring participants to create more vibrant piece for the neighbourhood. Where appropriate, we will retain and store materials for future donations and additional installations to ensure the project continues to benefit the community.
There will be a small collection of wool and needles available to use, but you’re also welcome to BYO materials.
