YARC Gallery Exhibition Opening: Stumped - by Mathilda Hazchem
Stumped
-by Mathilda Hazchem
Stumped explores possible futures of Tasmanian native forest. Through tonal drawings in charcoal on paper, these works aim to create a dark, sombre atmosphere and draw the viewers’ attention to the destructive practices of native forest logging in Lutruwita. Will our native forests be reduced to stumps?
