Town Historian and Author John Demmer, along with Historian and Author David Wilson, will present a history of Yanticaw Park. Learn about the residents who lobbied for the funding and creation of the park, the Olmsted Brothers' design, and the development of Alligator Island. Discover the history behind the bandstand and explore 110 years of improvements to this beloved park. Historical photographs from the Essex County Archives will be featured. Program will meet upstairs on the second floor.
