Meet at the Lakeview Picnic area inside the park at 8:30am. If you do not have an annual parks pass then entry is $17/vehicle and concession is $10/vehicle.
After the entry gate turn left at the first roundabout and continue down to parking by the toilet block. We will do a short walk along the lakeside lawns looking for water birds and then move the vehicles to the parking area by Boomerang Gorge.
Here we will walk through the gorge and follow other bush paths around the Henry White oval where we should see a variety of bush birds and plenty of Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoos.
Bring a chair and morning tea to have while we do a combined bird list.
