Meet at the Lakeview picnic area inside the Park at 8.00am. Bring your WA Annual All Parks Pass if you have one, otherwise entry is $17 per vehicle or $10 per vehicle for seniors. Proceed through the entrance gate and go left at the roundabout. There is a large parking area and I suggest we meet near the covered barbecue area which is adjacent to the toilet block. There should be a variety or bushbirds and waterbirds. Yanchep National Park is part of the Northern Swan Coastal Plain IBA for Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo.
Bring a chair and morning tea to have while the bird list is compiled.
