Join Friends of the Yampa for a Yampa River Workshop!
With summer temps heating up the Yampa River mainstem, late summer and fall are a great time to head up into the tributaries for some casting. Head to this workshop to talk about the difference in fishing tributaries, how to find a great fishing spot, what flies and gear to bring, and more! Local angler Lyndsay Beasley will be teaching the workshop. Light snacks and drinks will be served!
There will be a prize drawing for all attending for a chance to win some Fishpond fly fishing gear!

Lyndsay Beasley is a passionate fly angler based in South Routt County who has spent years exploring the Yampa River and its quiet tributaries. Her heart is in helping women and brand-new anglers discover the joy of fly fishing in a laid-back, supportive environment. Whether it’s casting your first fly or learning to read moving water, she believes fly fishing should feel approachable, empowering, and fun. Her goal is simple: to get more people comfortable on the water and excited about the Yampa River, its tributaries and the opportunity we have as anglers in the Yampa Valley.
