Erica Ward's 2024 Solo Exhibition, "Yamanote Bonsai," celebrates the slowly, but ever-changing beauty of Tokyo by pairing the 30 station areas of Tokyo's Yamanote Line with bonsai in 30 all-new watercolor and ink illustrations.Find your favorite Tokyo station area imagined as a momiji maple or a juniper bonsai in these original works, which will be on display and for sale at Yoyogi Art Gallery, just a few minutes walk from JR Harajuku Station.So excited to present this series!
エリカ·ワードの2024年の個展「山手盆栽」は盆栽と山手線沿いの駅周辺の景色を組みあわせた30点の新作を発表します。東京の街は盆栽と同じようにゆっくりと変わっていく物であり、イラストで街を盆栽に例えることで生きている街の美しさに気づいていただきたいです。原宿駅から徒歩数分の代々木アートギャラリーで展示·販売される作品の中であなたの好きな駅が紅葉や松の盆栽に組み合わされているのを探して楽しんで欲しいです。
Along with the original artworks, an art book and selection of prints from the "Yamanote Bonsai" series will be available at the gallery, along with a wide array of other Erica Ward Illustration prints, posters, stickers and more.
新作原画作品とともに、「山手盆栽」の画集やプリント、そして過去のシリーズのグッズも販売予定です。
