Yalda: Creative Celebration of Triumph Over Darkness

Join us for a creative collaborative Yalda celebration in a space to ignite the spirit of the Zoroastrian  roots of Yalda, Winter Solstice. The celebration will journey through a dynamic installation of storytelling and art making of the beautiful symbol of this holiday- Pomegranate. The red seeds of the pomegranate represent the glow of life and the colors of dawn as we triumph over darkness.

This is open to families with kids 11 yrs+

• 2:15 – 3:30 PM | Story-sharing session led by Alysia
• 3:30 – 4:30 PM | Creative workshop  led by Maryam R. & Mahnaz W.
• 4:30 – 5:00 PM | Nourishment & Mingling
