About YAGÓDY
The Ukrainian band YAGODY was founded in Lviv in 2016 by Zoriana Dybovska, following her relocation from Donetsk during the Donbas conflict. Building on her passion for reviving folk songs, Zoriana formed the band with talented actresses she had taught, and together they explored Ukrainian music through artistic expeditions. The band’s name, meaning “berries,” originated by chance during their debut performance and evolved over time.
YAGODY released their self-titled debut album in 2020, featuring ten singles inspired by Ukrainian and foreign folk music, along with music videos for "Kalyna-Malyna," "Zelena Lishchyna," and "Divonko." In 2023, they debuted their first original song, "Tsunamia," for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 national selection.
Now consisting of three vocalists, an accordionist, a bass guitarist, a drummer, and a cymbalist, YAGODY actively tours Europe, performing charity concerts and captivating audiences with their innovative blend of traditional and modern sounds.
