Y Môr a Mi

Menter arfordirol newydd ydi Y Môr a Mi sydd wedi’i ddylunio i gysylltu pobl ifanc yn Sir Ddinbych gyda’r arfordir ar eu stepen drws. Trwy weithgareddau cadwraeth ymarferol, gweithdai eco-grefft creadigol, a dysgu am elfennau diogelwch dŵr hanfodol, mae’r prosiect yn helpu pobl ifanc i archwilio sut mae gofalu am y môr yn adlewyrchu gofalu am eu lles eu hunain.

Nod y rhaglen yw sbarduno chwilfrydedd, magu hyder, ac agor llwybrau i wirfoddoli, ymgysylltu â’r gymuned a llwybrau gyrfaol yn y dyfodol sy’n gysylltiedig â’r amgylchedd, cadwraeth, crefftau arfordirol a’r celfyddydau.

Wedi’i greu i bobl ifanc 16–25 oed, mae Y Môr a Mi yn gynhwysol, yn hygyrch, ac wedi’i wreiddio mewn cymuned, creadigrwydd, cadwraeth, diogelwch a lles.

Mae croeso i chi ymuno ag unrhyw sesiwn sydd o ddiddordeb i chi. Os byddwch chi’n ymuno â’r tri, fe gewch chi dystysgrif yn dathlu eich ymrwymiad i ddysgu am ein hamgylchedd â’r arfordir.

Mae sesiwn olaf Y Môr a Mi yn gwahodd pobl ifanc ar siwrnai bwerus drwy un o warchodfeydd natur arfordirol mwyaf syfrdanol Cymru. Mae’r profiad RSPB yma yn cymysgu cadwraeth, lles, cysylltu â natur a chipolwg gwirioneddol ar yrfaoedd amgylcheddol.

Taith Dywys o Warchodfa Arfordirol
Cerdded ar hyd clogwyni dramatig Ynys Lawd gyda thywysydd profiadol o’r RSPB. Mwynhewch nythfeydd adar y môr, golygfeydd eiconig, a bywyd gwyllt tymhorol - o balod a gweilch y penwaig i frain coesgoch, hebog tramor a fflora arfordirol prin.

Ymweld â lleoliadau megis:

Sesiwn hamddenol y tu mewn i Dŵr Elin, er mwyn myfyrio, arsylwi bywyd gwyllt, ac archwilio lles drwy weithgaredd ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar sy’n seiliedig ar natur.

🌊 The Sea in You

The Sea in You is a new coastal initiative designed to connect young people in Denbighshire with the coastline on their doorstep. Through hands‑on marine conservation activities, creative eco‑craft workshops, and essential water‑safety learning, the project helps young people explore how caring for the ocean mirrors caring for their own wellbeing.

The programme aims to spark curiosity, build confidence, and open up pathways into future volunteering, community involvement, and potential careers linked to the environment, conservation, coastal trades, and the arts.

Created for young people aged 16–25, The Sea in You is inclusive, accessible, and rooted in community, creativity, conservation, safety, and wellbeing.

You’re welcome to join any session that interests you. If you complete all three, you’ll receive a certificate celebrating your commitment to learning about our environment and coast.

🌊 The Sea in You – Session 3

RSPB: Wellbeing, Nature & Nurture Conservation Experience

📅 Date: 4 March 2026
🚐 Departure: Leave Rhyl at 9:30am (transport included)
📍 Location: RSPB South Stack, Holyhead, Anglesey, LL65 1YH
⏱ Approx. Session Window: 11:00am – 2:00pm (including lunch) then travel home.

Our final The Sea in You session invites young people on a powerful journey through one of Wales’ most breathtaking coastal nature reserves. This immersive RSPB experience blends conservation, wellbeing, nature‑connection and real insight into environmental careers.

What’s included:

Guided Coastal Reserve Tour
Walk the dramatic cliffs of South Stack with an experienced RSPB guide. Take in seabird colonies, iconic viewpoints, and seasonal wildlife highlights — from puffins and razorbills to choughs, peregrine falcons and rare coastal flora.

History, Landscape & Culture
Visit locations such as:

• South Stack Lighthouse viewpoint
• Ellin’s Tower
• Hut Circles and ancient settlement sites
• Coastal paths shaped by natural forces and human history

Learn how the landscape, biodiversity, and heritage are deeply interconnected.

Meet the Conservation Team
Spend time with the staff who care for the reserve and hear about:

• What the RSPB does
• How they protect coastal habitats and species
• The skills involved in conservation careers
• Real volunteering opportunities for young people

Mindful Nature Journalling
A gentle session inside Ellin’s Tower, allowing space to reflect, observe wildlife, and explore wellbeing through nature‑based mindfulness activities.

Lunch Provided
Lunch and a soft drink will be included during the midday break. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements so we can ensure your lunch is prepared safely and appropriately.

Additional Information

• The reserve includes uneven terrain; sturdy footwear and weather‑appropriate clothing are recommended.
• Neurodivergent‑friendly adjustments can be made, including breaking the tour into calmer segments or selecting alternative accessible routes.

All wildlife sightings are seasonal and not guaranteed — that’s part of the magic of the natural world.
