We are looking for participants for our upcoming FREE Spring psych ed groups for people who are interested in learning more about themselves. We would like to offer the Youth (18-30) program (Victoria location TBD).Do you know any youth/young adults (18-30 years old) that want to learn more about managing stress (school, social, future), anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, self-doubt, social pressure, perfectionism, comparison culture (social media), finding purpose, navigating difficult emotions? Worried about their education or career? A new parent? Getting a divorce? Caregiver? Social worker or teacher? Starting a new job? New to the area? Out of work? Athlete or performance artist? Alive?! Life is challenging. We get it. This program is designed to help navigate life with strength using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. We will guide you through building awareness and skills to be flexible with your thoughts, introduce self-compassion when feeling uncomfortable emotions, and begin to define living by what's important to you now. You will learn how to be true to yourself. Unlock your potential and build emotional intelligence so you can thrive. A wisdom code for this game of life.
Our free mental wellness programs help participants learn how to manage stress and mild-to-moderate anxiety (individuals experiencing severe anxiety and stress that significantly impacts their ability to perform daily activities, likely require more support than what Y Mind is intended to provide).
Participants are supported by two trained mental health professionals, peer group support, a free workbook and gym membership while in the program (if in the Victoria area). There are 7 sessions, Tuesday evenings from 6 pm - 8:30 pm, from May 5-June 16th, 2026. For more information email [email protected] or call 778-584-7360.
