This saturday Scramble is a perfect introduction to scramble terrain for anyone with Crib Goch and Crib y Ddysgl in their sights.
Y Gribin rises between Cwm Bochlwyd and Cwm Cneifion to join the plateau between the two main Glyderau summits. The views are incredibly breathtaking.
We will meet at 8.30am in Ogwen and tackle the path that takes us to the start of the short but exhilerating ridge scramble that is Y Gribin (The Gribin Ridge) which summits the Glyderau plateau. Beginners to scrambling welcome, you will need a good level of fitness with the ability to take steps up and down through rocky terrain. A summit to either Glyder Fach or Glyder Fawr is optional depending on group ability!
Lay-by parking can be full as early as 8am at the weekend. Please get in contact for travel and parking information if it is your first visit to the area.
