The XXIV Forum of the International Federation of Psychoanalytic Societies IFPS will take place in Santiago de Chile from 11 to 14 November 2026.
Under the title "Psychoanalysis and the Fractures of the Human Condition", the Forum brings together psychoanalysts, clinicians, researchers, and professionals from related fields to reflect on contemporary transformations of subjectivity, human bonds, and the forms of alterity that shape our time.
The IFPS Forum is an international space for encounter, clinical dialogue, and critical thought, characterized by theoretical pluralism, interdisciplinary openness, and an ethical commitment to psychoanalytic practice.
The Forum will be conducted in English and Spanish. The main lectures will include simultaneous translation. Parallel panels will be organized by language and, where possible, alternating translation will be provided.
The Forum will be held in Santiago, Chile, at the Nicanor Parra Auditorium of Universidad Diego Portales. The campus is located in the city center, in the area known as Barrio República or the University District.

El XXIV Fórum de la International Federation of Psychoanalytic Societies IFPS se realizará en Santiago de Chile entre el 11 y el 14 de noviembre de 2026.
Bajo el título "Psicoanálisis y las Fracturas de la Condición Humana", el Fórum convoca a psicoanalistas, clínicos, investigadores y profesionales afines a reflexionar sobre las transformaciones contemporáneas de la subjetividad, los vínculos y las formas de alteridad que atraviesan nuestra época.
El Fórum IFPS es un espacio internacional de encuentro, diálogo clínico y pensamiento crítico, caracterizado por su pluralismo teórico, apertura interdisciplinaria y compromiso ético con la práctica psicoanalítica.
El Fórum se desarrollará en inglés y español. Las conferencias principales contarán con traducción simultánea. Las mesas paralelas se organizarán por idioma y, cuando sea posible, se dispondrá de traducción alternada.
El Fórum se realizará en Santiago de Chile, específicamente en el Auditorio Nicanor Parra de la Universidad Diego Portales. El campus se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad, en el sector conocido como Barrio República o Barrio Universitario.
