A Ideias do Levante com o apoio do Município de Lagoa organiza, nos dias 25 e 26 de julho de 2026, a décima quinta edição do "Lagoa a Cantar", inserida no projecto LAGOAVOX, que terá lugar no CEFLA, em Lagoa (Algarve).
A realização deste evento tem como objectivo proporcionar à comunidade local (e não só), várias actividades relacionadas com a voz e, por sua vez, o canto.

Sábado, dia 25 de julho de 2026
10:00-12:00 CANTO PARA CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES - Workshop gratuito, orientado em português e inglês, por Maria Saramago, aberto a crianças (maiores de 8 anos) e adolescentes, com ou sem experiência musical.
15:00-18:00 CANTO PARA AMADORES E PROFISSIONAIS - Workshop gratuito, orientado em português e inglês, orientado por Carla Pontes, onde os participantes são convidados a trazer uma canção e a trabalhar a sua técnica e interpretação. Destinatários: jovens (a partir dos 16 anos) e adultos com experiência no canto, amador ou profissional.

10:00-12:00 RITMO CORPORAL E IMPROVISAÇÃO VOCAL - Workshop de ritmo corporal e improvisação vocal, recorrendo ao método Circle Singing (Bobby McFerrin) e à Música do Círculo (Barbatuques). Ideal para músicos, não músicos, e formadores nas áreas do canto, ritmo e dança. Este workshop gratuito, orientado em português e inglês, por Júnior, está aberto a todos, com ou sem experiência musical prévia.
15:00-18:00 CANTO CLÁSSICO INDIANO - Este workshop experiencial facultado em inglês convida os participantes a descobrir a beleza do raga: formas melódicas profundamente ligadas aos ciclos do dia e da noite, à natureza, às estações do ano e aos elementos. Os participantes serão também introduzidos a elementos e ciclos rítmicos, explorando como o ritmo apoia a voz e aprofunda a consciência musical. Este workshop gratuito, orientado por Simona Chalikovaite, está aberto a todos, com ou sem experiência musical prévia.

As inscrições são limitadas. Sem a inscrição atempada, não será garantido vaga/participação e tampouco informar sobre qualquer alteração.

Ideias do Levante, with the support of the Municipality of Lagoa, is organising the fifteenth edition of "Lagoa a Cantar" on the 25th and 26th of July 2026, as part of the LAGOAVOX project, taking place at CEFLA, in Lagoa (Algarve).
This event aims to offer the local community (and beyond) a range of activities related to voice and, in turn, singing.
#SCHEDULE
Saturday, 25th of July 2026
10:00–12:00 SINGING FOR CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS – Free workshop, led by Maria Saramago, in Portuguese and in English, open to children (aged 8 and over) and teenagers, with or without musical experience.
15:00–18:00 SINGING FOR AMATEURS AND PROFESSIONALS – Free workshop, led by Carla Pontes, in Portuguese and in English, where participants are invited to bring a song and work on their technique and interpretation. Target audience: young people (from 16 years old) and adults with singing experience, amateur or professional.

10:00–12:00 BODY RHYTHM AND VOCAL IMPROVISATION – Body rhythm and vocal improvisation workshop, using the Circle Singing method (Bobby McFerrin) and Music of the Circle (Barbatuques). Ideal for musicians, non-musicians, and trainers in the areas of singing, rhythm, and dance. This free workshop, led by Júnior, in Portuguese and in English, is open to everyone, with or without previous musical experience.
15:00–18:00 INDIAN CLASSICAL SINGING – This experiential workshop invites participants to discover the beauty of raga: melodic forms deeply connected to the cycles of day and night, nature, the seasons, and the elements. Participants will also be introduced to rhythmic elements and cycles, exploring how rhythm supports the voice and deepens musical awareness. This free workshop, led by Simona Chalikovaite, in English, is open to everyone, with or without previous musical experience.

Registrations are limited. Without timely registration, a place/participation cannot be guaranteed, nor can notification of any changes be ensured.

Participants should bring their own drink and comfortable clothing that allows full freedom of movement.
