Xtra Innings Vs Redliner Beer Ball

Lot of info incoming, please bear with me! Sign-up at Redliner or Xtra Innings: there will be a player draft, so you’re not guaranteed to be on the team you sign up at
$20/person (includes game, food, hat, and beer at the game)
If you do not want to play, you can still pay $20 and drink, eat, get a hat, and come out to the park to have fun times
**Open to 30-people total, first 15 to sign up at each bar are in!**
**No refund for no-shows so if something comes up, please let us know in advance if you can’t make it and need monies back so we can hook you up**
Game has a 3-hour run time: 3pm to 6pm
The team with most runs at the end of the three hours wins and takes the trophy (which will be made by yours truly and Adam Sieger)
Home/away teams decided by coin flip, if time runs out mid-inning, final inning gets played out like a normal game would.
After the three hours are done, we can keep playing until the beer is gone and some of the rules will shift slightly to increase beer consumption… aka, drink up and have fun because the actual game is over.
Each team is 15 players - 10 fielded each inning.
**Homers only count as homers if they go in the water**
Players can line up behind the fence, and the ball is still in play if it’s hit over. If a ball goes in the water, batter and base runner(s) still need to run the bases and drink the beer at 2nd prior to the run(s) counting. No drinking short cuts in beer ball!
Batting orders can be however you want them, you do not need to rotate guy/girl like a normal game - players can switch positions at any time, basically you can do whatever the hell you want with your roster as long as there's only 10 people in the field at any given time.
The Beer Part:
A keg will be at 2B - runners need to spin around the barrel 3x once safe at 2B and take a beer. The beer has to be consumed completely, before you can reach 3B safely.
If you touch 3B before your beer is gone, you’re not safe and can be tagged out until the beer is gone.
We’ll have another barrel behind the home fence to drink as much as you want if you can’t get on base (or if you just wanna play drink the beer, that’s cool too)
**PRE-GAME and POST-GAME PREGAMING and COOKOUT**
We’re planning to all meet up at either Xtra or Redliner before the game up until 2pm and then we’ll have a cookout at the other location after the game wraps up (specific locations for each TBD)
Nate and Ken will be shooting a game of darts; winner gets the first pick. Teams drafted afterward. Start of the draft any girls that are signed up have to be picked with every other pick so that we’re even across the board.
We'll have burgers, brats, hot dogs and chips - normal ball park food available.
