Join us at the Paraclete XP tunnel February 27- March 1, 2026 to hone your camera suit flying skills with one on one coaching from Elliot Byrd. The majority of camera flyers I have coached use their wings incorrectly and inefficiently because they default to body positions for fall rate adjustment that they would use without camera wings. Flying with camera wings requires a different skill set that is counter to what we learned prior to putting them on. The aim of this camp is to coach you on how to fly wings/suits properly and to break down old ingrained body position habits so you can focus on getting the shot.Camp will start with a classroom session Friday morning where we will discuss all things camera flying followed by tunnel flying that afternoon through Sunday.
One on one coaching will include a pre-camp interview where we discuss your goals in camera flying. What disciplines are you currently focusing on and where do you want to go with camera flying in the future. We will spend each session in the tunnel working on the skill sets required to fly your suit effectively. Once those skills are mastered we will move onto discipline specific drills. Each session will be 15 minutes followed by a one on one debrief with specific goals set forth for the next session.
* Must be signed off on all belly skills in the tunnel in order to participate in the camp. If you wish to learn sit flying with wings you must be signed off on all sit fly skills in the tunnel.
Transportation and accommodations:
I will be getting a rental car and AirB&B for the camp. If you are in need of a place to stay and a ride from the airport let me know so we can coordinate.
