Join EastSide for a community tradition that spans nearly a decade long, The Xicana Moratorium Block Party is back as part of the annual tradition of Xicana Moratorium, the event commemorates and pays homage to the powerful legacy and resistance of the Chicano Moratorium that took place in Los Angeles in 1970.
Aimed to bring love to our beloved city, and light and support to our immigrant community, the Block Party brings together local organizations and vendors to share community resources, build relationships, and uplift our block!
Our stage will be alive with a powerful programming, featuring inspirational words from our guest speakers, poets and great performances.
