Build & Validate Workshop: Take an Idea to a Working AI Prototype
An evening of hands-on work with the AI tools and workflows that turn an idea into something you can actually demo.
The Build & Validate Workshop is part of , an AI innovation challenge presented by BeyondX Lab and supported by Padang & Co. Over two hours, you'll get practical exposure to agentic development, validation, and rapid prototyping, with live demonstrations at each step.
What you'll cover
Discovering problems worth solving. An introduction to Xathon's four innovation missions, using design thinking to identify meaningful problems and real user pain points, and why it pays to think AI-first rather than AI-last.
Agentic software development with AWS Kiro. Spec-driven development, working with AI coding agents, and building an application from prompts, with a live demonstration.
Agentic validation with Allo8. Using a workflow builder for customer discovery, validating your assumptions before you build, and running test agents against your solution.
From prompt to prototype with BuilderLab. Building functional AI prototypes without extensive coding, connecting prompts to working applications, integrating APIs and AI services, and rapid UI development, with a live idea-to-prototype demonstration.
What you'll leave with
A clear sense of the four innovation missions, a real-world problem worth solving, working knowledge of how AI agents accelerate development and validation, and the confidence to build a prototype quickly.
Who it's for
Professionals, aspiring founders, developers, designers, university students, and anyone curious about building with AI. No finished product or company required. Come with a team or come on your own, this is also where teams come together.
