About this Event
The word "wryd" means the unfolding of fate or becoming. Rather than a fixed destiny, wryd speaks to the living web of relationships, choices, and forces that shape our lives. It reminds us that we are participants in an ever-unfolding story.
In that spirit, we will gather to spend time writing together, following stories, insights, or questions that are asking for our attention. Whether you write poetry, fiction, essays, journal entries-or you are curious to see what emerges-you are welcome. Prompts will be offered but follow them only if you choose.
We will also be hosting a book exchange. If you have a book that's ready to begin a new chapter with someone else, bring it along. Leave with a new story for your journey!
Bring your writing materials, a book to exchange (optional), and your curiosity. We look forward to sharing an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and the unfolding of our collective wyrd.
This time together is offered for the sliding scale of $0-$35 to support our dear, Web of Life Animists (sliding scale-give what you can).
We are in the Old Adobe Office Park, which is right behind The Girls Estate Sales. Suite B-140. Our door is next to the covered parking.
