Wyrd War proudly presents the Pacific Northwest theatrical premiere of cult filmmaker Nico B’s intimate and unflinching homage to the life, death and creative legacy of Rozz Williams and CHRISTIAN DEATH.
Rozz Williams: Romeo's Distress (2026) tracks the shapeshifting artist’s ardent journey from his childhood in a strict Southern Baptist household in Pomona, California through his total immersion in uncompromising artistic expression and the rise of truly seminal bands, including Christian Death, Shadow Project and Premature Ejaculation, to his death by suicide in a West Hollywood apartment on April Fool’s Day at the age of 34. Cult Epics founder Nico B is the steward of the largest Rozz Williams archive in the world, and he taps into a deep wellspring of rare photos, concert footage and candid interviews with former creative partners and surviving family members to explore and enshrine the full scope of his former collaborator’s life work in this exceptional new documentary.
