Please join the Art & Design department for another artist talk in our fall series. The exhibition WYRD will open in the Prairie Meadows Gallery in Rasmussen next week, with works in conversation by former Art & Design professor Mary Jones and GVU alum Jolynn (Anderson) Reigeluth. Wyrd is an Anglo-Saxon concept aligned with "what happens, fate, or fortune." Meanings point towards the shaping of one's own personal destiny. The Modern English "weird" descends from "wyrd."
