Wymer Arts Series at UH Rainbow Ahuja Center for Women & Children

Join us the second Saturday of every month in 2025 for FREE activities with artists from the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning. Separate sessions for children in grades K-2 and 3-5. Each class will be from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Join us every month or pick and choose the topics of interest for your child. Class sizes are limited and registration is required for each session. Join us early at 12:00 pm for a free lunch!

October’s classes will focus on visual arts and the fun and creativity of puppets and mask making.

October 11 - 12:30 - 1:30pm

Grades K-2

Through the art of Japanese bunraku puppetry, participants will work together to create a puppet then bring it to life.

Grades 3-5

Participants will turn recycled paper and cardboard into amazing and unique masks with the help of local artist, Claudio.

Lunch will be provided from 12:00 - 12:30 pm
