Join Gregory Weidman, Chief Curator of Hampton National Historic Site, and author of Furniture in Maryland 1740–1940: The Collection of the Maryland Historical Society, and Catherine Arthur, MCHC’s Vice President of Collections and Chief Curator, for a deep dive into this new furniture acquisition. Gregory and Catherine will discuss the skills they use to detect what details and construction you should and should not see on early American furniture.
