Hard Knox Games is proud to announce WWIII Team Yankee Southern Nationals 2025. This is a WWIII Team Yankee Tournament. This will be a two-day, five round, Straight Swiss Pairings with random pairings on round 1. Unlike most other events at HKG this will not use red-vs-blue pairings, we will try to ensure players are not matched with travelling companions on round 1 of the tournament. This event will be held at Hard Knox Games in Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
This event will be held on April 26th and 27th.
This event is free but there will be a $20 registration fee on the sign-up website to discourage no-shows. This will help the T.O. and Venue planning for the event. The registration fee will be returned to all attendees as a $20 store credit. Formal cancellations made before April 1st will be fully credited to the account of the dropping player for in-store or web-store purchases (player's discretion) at www.hardknoxgames.com . Formal cancellations made after April 1st will have $10 credited to the store account of the dropping player as detailed above.
A list of registered attendees will be maintained in the discussion section of this event on facebook.
Plaques or Trophies for this event will be provided by Battlefront Miniatures. As this is a free event other prizes may be limited. If there are other prizes they will be awarded by random draw. Results will be reported to Battle Rankings. Rankings for the event will ordered by Wins, Victory Points, Strength of Schedule, dice-off.

The point total for this event will be 100 points with the current dynamic points options as of the 1st of April 2025.
To ensure lists are accurate and the event is a level playing field lists must be submitted by April 15th. Lists will be published as soon as they are vetted. Players may choose to attend and submit their lists after publication of lists, but there will be a 1 point victory point penalty from the players final total for each day between the 15th and the submission date. This will allow late submissions to attend and play, but will apply a penalty for any potential benefits that could arise from late submission. Deviations from submitted lists after the 15th must be approved by the tournament organizer (Chad Underdonk) and may incur a penalty at his discretion of 1 victory point reduced from the final total for every portion of 25 points of change to reduce any potential benefits of late changes. Players should have 6 physical copies of their lists.
We will use the most up to date Battleplans as of April 1st, 2025 with a single non-recurring (per day) die-roll to determine missions. Players must have access to the current Battleplans document (located here: https://www.team-yankee.com/Default.aspx?tabid=908) either electronically or in print to ensure smooth flow of rounds. Players may not repeat a stance more than 3 teams during the course of the 5 rounds.
We have acquired a number of the old masters tables from Battlefront for use at our store and will not require player brought tables. Anyone who would like to bring a WWIII themed table is still welcome to, and we will make room for it to be set up. Players will not play on the same table more than once.
Our regular store hours are 11am-9pm EST Monday-Thursday, 11am-Midnight EST Friday, 10am-Midnight Saturday, and Noon-6pm Sundays.

Players may, by mutual consent, play round 3 until mission or agreed completion. All other rounds must end when time is called to ensure orderly progress of the rounds. Results should be submitted immediately.
