EVENT DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY:
Women Who Explore and HikerBabes are bringing all of you Witches together for one epic night. Dust off your witch hats and join us! We'll hike to Picacho Peak for a sunset photo shoot adorned with witch hats, capes, flowy skirts, brooms, warts, couldurons, and whatever else you might want to bring. Picacho Peak is just over 2 miles long with approximately 750 ft of elevation gain the terrain is rocky with a few slick areas so trekking poles can be helpful. We are starting early to ensure everyone can make it up the mountain! We will have about an hour and fifteen minutes to get up the mountain. We will hike back after the sun goes down, so be sure to bring a headlamp or flashlight.
It can be windy at the top, so bring layers!
Open to identifying women over 18.
**DIRECTIONS TO MEETING POINT:
The Alltrails link will not take you directly to the trailhead. Be sure to plan accordingly and add about 10 minutes to your drive time. Low clearance vehicles might have some issues.
A caravan/carpool to the trailhead will be avaialble after the right turn off of Anthem Rd before the pavement goes away. The caravan/carpool will leave from that spot at 4:30 pm. So plan accordingly to arrive before we leave.

WHAT TO BRING:
• Good hiking boots/shoes
• Witch hat/costume/flowy skirt/broom/other props
• Day Pack
• trekking poles are recommended
• Appropriate layers (sunshirts, wind breaker)
• H2O to stay hydrated
• Snacks (to refuel your body)
• First aid kit
• Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen
