Registration Requirement

Responding as “Going” to this event on Facebook does not reserve a spot; you must register on Eventbrite in order to attend this event. Along with this Eventbrite registration, please be sure to complete our Women Who Explore Participant Waiver (needed once per year): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfX6bkwHzE2YJ-6ohx5vX2CfBNIscs1UINt_QjtjrrhOv9dbg/viewform.

Meeting Time and Location

Upon entering the park, you will initially pass 2 parking lots on your right. We'll meet at the 2nd parking lot on the left (https://maps.app.goo.gl/KA8yggjCSDJZdFWb9) at 2pm. Map image shown below. There are pit toilets available at this parking lot.

What To Bring

* Water

* Medications as needed

* Appropriate clothing - comfortable footwear for gravel path; bring layers; any other items needed depending on the weather i.e. hat, sunglass, rain jacket

* Optional: bug spray, sunscreen, snacks, camera, binocular, a light backpack to put layers in as you shed them

Participation Info

Due to local guidelines and regulations, Women Who Explore will be limiting the number of attendees per event.

If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite and/or contact Trish at 708-945-3944 or via Facebook.

** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified and are not guides. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.**

By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by Women Who Explore which include:

- Practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms, exposed to or have tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days.
