THE EVENT
This in-person event at Staunton State Park is perfect for nature lovers who wants to experience Waterfalls in our wonderful State!
A PARK PASS IS NEEDED!

- There is a bathroom at the Trailhead and lots of parking
- You can bring your well behaved dog on a leash
- Car pooling can be arranged
THE HIKE
The trail combines the Scout Line Trail, Chimney Rock Trail, and Bulging Elk Trail to create a loop from the Lions Head Trailhead to Elk Falls and back. You might see mountain bikers out on some of the paths, but this loop utilizes a couple foot-traffic only trails.

Due to local guidelines and regulations, Women Who Explore will be limiting the number of attendees per event. Each member attending the event will be required to register through Eventbrite.In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend. ** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get-together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.

By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by Women Who Explore which include:• Practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms, are exposed to, or have tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days. ˜• Post-event: anyone who develops flu-like symptoms within 14 days of joining an event should contact the ambassador and Women Who Explore at [email protected].

• Choose "Cancel Order". (Desktop — Select 'Cancel Order" (next to your order details). Then choose “Yes, cancel this order". Eventbrite app — Select the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.)
