Salem Summer Solstice 5k & 10k Run – with a Sweet Ice Cream Sundae Finish!Kick off the summer season with the Willamette Valley Road Runners' annual evening race at Minto-Brown Island Park! Join us on Friday, June 13th, 2025, for a fun and scenic run celebrating the summer solstice.
📅 Race Details:
10k: Starts at 7:00 PM | $20 registration before April 28th
5k: Starts at 7:10 PM | $15 registration before April 28th
Prices increase starting April 30th, so sign up early!
Day-of registration: $30 for the 10k, $25 for the 5k
The start and finish are located at the pavilion near Parking Lot #3 in Minto-Brown Island Park.
Participant Perks:
🏃♀️ Strollers are welcome (but please leave rollerblades, skateboards, and dogs at home).
🚶 Walkers are invited to join the 5k! Please note: course timing and monitoring end at 8:30 PM, giving everyone 90 minutes to finish.
🍨 All runners, walkers, and volunteers are treated to an ice cream sundae under the pavilion post-race!

-Registration and bib pickup open at 6:00 PM.
