The USS Wernher von Braun is having an ice cream social on Sunday, July 28th, at 2 PM. We're trying Culver's at 8382 Hwy 72 West in Madison (Accessed from Balch Road and John Henry Way). They offer a wide variety of menu items besides frozen custard from burgers and sandwiches, to salads and seafood. All are welcome to join us as we beat the Vulcan... er... Alabama heat in the most logical and delicious way possible.https://www.culvers.com/
Uniforms are NOT required, but a Star Trek or sci-fi shirt is recommended to help advertise our chapter and STARFLEET. We're in the middle of a humid Alabama summer, so dress accordingly. You don't have to be a member of the von Braun or STARFLEET to attend. In fact, feel free to bring family and friends to join us.
